After more than three decades on the front lines of customer engagement, Don Fulton saw a growing gap — and a unique opportunity. Having served in customer-facing roles since 1989 and rising to lead Customer Success teams for national organizations, he had spent his career solving problems, building relationships, and driving retention in some of the country’s most complex industries, including 32 years in the Criminal Justice technology space.
By 2007, Don was among the early wave of professionals embracing the then-emerging field of Customer Success. He helped implement, scale, and manage CSM methodologies at an enterprise level, serving as a trusted Team Manager and Team Lead for multiple national vendors. Over the years, he developed a reputation for his steady leadership, thoughtful coaching, and deep commitment to the customer journey — from onboarding to renewal.
In June of 2025, with retirement on the horizon but his passion for mentoring and problem-solving still strong, Don launched Customer Success Pathways, LLC. His mission? To bring the lessons learned over decades — often in high-stakes, high-compliance environments — to small and mid-sized businesses that lack the resources to build full-fledged Customer Success teams. He founded the company on the belief that every organization, regardless of size, should have access to the proven best practices that drive customer retention, expansion, and satisfaction.
Rooted in Georgia and focused on local partnerships within the Metro Atlanta area and beyond, Customer Success Pathways, LLC offers expert-led consulting, training, and CSM playbook development — tailored for organizations ready to grow but unsure how to scale their customer relationships.
Don is a graduate of Kennesaw State University, holding a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, and brings the precision, discipline, and problem-solving of a licensed commercial pilot to everything he does. His approach is hands-on, strategic, and always grounded in real-world results.
